 Dr. James H. Beaty graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, with a degree in biology and chemistry. He received his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental School.
Dr. Beaty invests many hours into continuing education. Dentistry is an ever-evolving industry and Dr. Beaty avidly researches new advances in technology and techniques. He has completed courses on composite materials and bonding treatments, periodontal treatments, smile design and smile analysis.
He is a member of several professional dental organizations:
- Academy of General Dentistry
- American Dental Association
- Texas Dental Association
- Greater Houston Dental Society - Chairman of the Dental Assisting Training Program
- National Chronic Pain Society - board member, author of articles informing patients of dental causes of chronic pain.
Dr. Beaty believes his passion for dentistry is God-given. He is dedicated to dentistry that reflects the beauty of God’s creation. He takes the utmost care to conserve and restore teeth to the function and beauty that God intended. Dr. Beaty says “God doesn’t do anything halfway, so I don’t either. I feel blessed to impact the lives of our patients in such a profound way.” In addition to treating our patients with such devotion and skill, Dr. Beaty travels to Honduras to provide dental care for needy people there. In addition to his professional volunteer capacities, Dr. Beaty enjoys participating in local sports, church, and youth group activities with his wife and children. |
